I switched from the plus to the regular card via the Barclays app 3 weeks ago. Was told it would switch over at the end of my next statement date.
Called Barclays and was told I won’t be charged another £20.
My card switched this morning and just saw I was charged the £20 fee yesterday.
Is this correct?
It’s charged in advance. So probably right. But why not ask them?
Probably because you’ll get a better answer here more quickly than from Barclaycard 😄
The next monthly fee gets charged automatically because at the time (just before the statement date) it’s still a Plus card, but it should get refunded a few days later.
