I wonder whether anyone has any innovative ideas that have not occurred to me…?
I had indicated to 2 friends that I would organise 4 Club return tickets to Miami for November ’24. I knew I had 3 unused 241 vouchers but now discover that only one will still be valid for Nov next year – and my next new one will not be until May / June.
I also have a Barclays upgrade voucher – and a Virgin voucher. And plenty of miles in both programmes.
Avaiability and voucher rules are problems besides the shortage of sufficient 241’s. Bookings for our dates open in around 2 weeks.
(obviously I could just use extra miles but would prefer not to if at all possible as whilst they are special friends they are not THAT special!)
ThanksBook outbound 2 x seats using the barclays voucher for them. Then use the Amex voucher for 2 more seats for you +1
Inbound add the 2 x BA seats using the Amex voucher and send 2 x friends on Virgin (not familiar with their voucher though!)

Oh no! I didn’t mean to post twice…. Originally I did set out to post on today’s thread – thought I had done – but when I checked back the text was still sitting in the draft box. Having ruminated on Rob’s instructions on what to use the daily forum for I decided that the BA thread was probably the correct one and was glad my first post hadn’t posted. Now look what’s happened…
