4x credit limit cap

Hi folks, can someone remind me please, is the 4x credit limit cap on Avios earning based on calendar months or card months? Many thanks

It’s per statement period that the 4x cap applies, although Avios are awarded per transaction on posting and then swept to BAEC each calendar month so it can be tricky to be sure of the precise number of Avios that have fallen into a particular statement period.
