Hello all,
Is it just me, or that the new BA website has removed the option of paying £X to hold the price for 72 hours?
Thanks,
Remember not all routes are eligible and neither are flights due to depart in less than 21 days
Once you’ve selected your flights, scroll down, down, down, next to the blue button with the quoted price and “Agree and Continue” – the option should be next to this on the right.
Quick method, select your flights, and Ctrl F, “£5” 🙂

Ah I didn’t know that! 🙂 (I don’t book flights that are due to depart in less than 21 days, I suppose)

Thanks, I will keep it in mind.
Also, another weird thing, I am a gold member, and they are charging me for seat selection.

If you are logged in then if you continue to the end of the booking process to the payment screen, it will remove the seat selection charges.
I haven’t got that far to find that out, but it’s still rubbish as it’s not recognising your status during the booking process (even when you are logged in), so for example doesn’t offer row 1 to Gold’s or exit seats where they should be available.
Also haven’t worked out how to part pay with Avios, which may also be tucked away towards the end rather than being obviously available where it used to be.

You can’t PPWA when using this. We actually have an article about this in the queue for when we get a quiet day.

Hello, thanks, you are correct. It removed the fees at the end.
One thing I noticed, the ability to pay via PayPal has been removed.
