I’ve got quite a long layover looming when arriving at Heathrow, prior to getting a domestic connection.
Will I be able to use the lounge at 5B, or am I restricted to the busy lounges in the main terminal ?
Yes, just take the underpass when heading back to T5A.
You can get to the B lounge (and occasionally the domestics even depart from B or C), obviously as long as you get back in time for boarding, but these days it can be nearly as crowded as the others.
There’s an article on here somewhere about how to get back to the A gates.
You can use the B Lounge, just remember a domestic is likely to leave from A gates, so you need to walk back via the tunnel on the lower level to get back – do not use the train transit.
