Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Access to first wing if flight is credited to another airline

A question that perhaps others might have as they consider their options is can I still use the first class wing, I’m a Gold card holder, even if I credit the flight to another OW airline? As I’m gold I’d assume so but looking for clarification whilst I work to build up status with another airline, most likely Qatar

I’m flying to Nice on Tuesday and going to try. I will let you know. Hopefully so as still want to use my gold privileges while building status with QR

Chances should be quite high considering there’s only one point of friction – the F Wing BP scanners, which are manned. Once past them, no further entry gate to the lounge itself. I can see it proving more challenging at outstations where the lounge will be separate to the check in area.

Do update us on how you get on on Tuesday. I will be fully crediting elsewhere so useful to know. Of course, Grinch Doyle might well just tweak the T&Cs to clarify benefits only apply when credited to BAEC.
