Accor – Status change mid-year when you hit required status points?

Does anyone know whether your Accor All status changes as soon as you hit the number of status points needed for the next level, or whether you have to wait until Jan 1st before it changes.
For example, I’m Accor Live Platinum status now, but after a holiday in October I will have earned enough status points this year to qualify for Diamond status. Will my status change to Diamond from the end of October or only from 1st Jan 2025?
It changes as soon as you’ve earned the status points in my experience.
UPDATE:
I dropped an email to Accor customer services and they responded within a few hours (very impressed!) to say that status is upgraded as soon as you hit the status points threshold for the higher tier, even if that is part way through the calendar year. They also seemed to say that you will retain this status for the full calendar year after the upgrade, i.e. from Jan 1st 2025 to Dec 31st 2025.

Been wondering this myself. New to Accor and racking up nights with my new job. Looks like I’ll hit silver by about 20 December. Will I get silver for 11 days and drop back to classic, or keep silver to December 2025?
