Accrual of Qpoints & Avios not applicable – Qatar Airways

Hi all

Apologies if this has already been asked before but I am trying to book some flights with my BA Avios on QR, but it says the above “Accrual of Qpoints & Avios not applicable” on my selected flights. Does this really mean I won’t earn any avios for these flights just because they are reward flights?

Some info on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

It’s normal to not earn tier or points on a reward flight. Virgin Atlantic are unique in they give you tier points on reward flights but not points.
