Adding another child to reward booking.

We currently have 3 avios seats redemption.
We now want to add another child, an Avios seat is available, the question is, can a 9 year old be added to our redemption ? As I can’t book a seat by itself for a 9 year old..
I clearly don’t want to risk cancelling 3 reward seats in the hope they go back into the pot..

You can call and book a ticket for the extra child and BA will link the two bookings but they won’t ever be merged.

@mecrash – it’s not possible to add another person to a booking but if you call BA they can make a new standalone booking for the nine year old and link it to your booking. It does mean that if you needed to change or cancel, there would be an extra cost but that’s unavoidable without cancelling and hoping the seats come back into inventory which has its own cost and risk.
