Hi, I have a flight from LHR to ARN today and then a flight on a separate ticket from ARN to LAX tomorrow via LHR on BA then AA. My flight today has just been cancelled and they have offered to re-book me on the last flight tonight.
My concern is that this new flight will also be cancelled (let alone luggage arriving) . I could go to LGW and jump on a Norwegian flight, which would get me to ARN, but I guess there is no guarantee that the flight from ARN to LHR would be running tomorrow. Is anyone at LHR at the moment… Is it still a mess there?
Any thoughts from anyone on the best course of action?
Need to make a quick decision on this.BA website is showing LHR-ARN running at 0900, 1325 and 1935 but 0710, 1120 and 1640 all cancelled. Did you already ask to be on the 1325?
Yes I was going to ask why you’re not on that one? Both the planes for the 13:25 and the 19:35 are currently at T5 if that’s any comfort. Not sure the later one couldn’t pop off elsewhere in meantime though.
I couldn’t get to LHR in time to get the 9 am flight which was what they offered me. They re-booked me onto the 19:35 flight….
