I have Silver status with BA, just booked 2 Business Class seat on Aer Lingus never flown with them before however joined their FF club. Trying to keep my Silver status do I add my BA FF number into the Aer Lingus booking and will this help me?

Yes add your BA number under the drop down choice of FF schemes. If in any doubt that you have defaulted to Aer Lingus AerClub call them and tell them you want the earnings directed to BA instead. They’ll know what to do.
