Looking to do a business class redemption on the Aer Lingus website rather than BA as this will save a decent chunk of Avios. A few questions on this:
1. Can I transfer an exec club family account balance to AER club?
2. With only two business redemptions showing has anyone tried to do a redemption and then a cash booking on the phone? Ideally on the same ticket but could be one after the other.1. Doubt it very much and transfers are still broken so you need to call aerclub.
2. No reason an agent couldn’t do that for you on the same call but not on the same ticket.This might be helpful.
You won’t be able to have a cash and and points bookings on the same booking.
