Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Aer Lingus to BAEC credit

I asked this in the chat thread as someone else asked something similar, but should be in here I think.

I flew on Aer Lingus for work 2 weeks ago, Business from MAN to the US. My BAEC account was on the booking but I have nothing posted yet. Anyone know how long this takes or if I should claim for the miles?

I don’t think you can credit Aer Lingus directly to BAEC, you should credit to an Aer Lingus Avios account and transfer the points.

    Not true. You get:

Fare class Avios as % of miles flown
    Economy lowest (L, S, R, W) 25%
    Economy flexible (Y, M, N) 100%
    Business lowest (D) 150%
    Business flexible (C, J) 250%

No tier bonus and no tier points.

Thanks Rob. That is what I thought. I guess I’ll submit a claim for the miles. Cheers.
