    A few weeks ago I called to query a change of flight – the dates & destination.

    Original flight
    November 2023 – London to Dubai return

    Query
    March 2024 – London to Morocco return

    After the call I received an email stating here are the details your search, the price quoted is not guaranteed and click if you want to book. I deleted the email and decided not to change the original booking.

    I go on to the app and find my booking reference is now showing the queried flight. It’s even allowing me to select a seat. I don’t understand what has happened, the only email I received from the airline was the one I mentioned above. I obviously hadn’t paid the extras like fare change and penalties. To be honest I don’t mind the new flights and happy to keep them but don’t want to get to next March and them saying there was a system error and have me pay the extras.

    With some airlines when you request details to make a change like this (and this is a very strange change in route) both the original flight and the requested one both show up.

    But what matters and what you need to look for in the new booking is a ticket number starting with three numbers (such as 001 for AA). If that’s not showing then you haven’t been rebooked or reticketted.

    Hi I’ve logged to the airline website, went to Manage my booking and my executive club account upcoming flights; the original flight is not showing at all just the queried flight. It’s like the original flight never existed.

    I can Print Itinerary but when I click to Print/email ticket receipt I get this error message = “Sorry, an e-ticket receipt is not available for the method of payment used for this booking.”
