Out MAN-DUB-SFO-LAS (Aer Lingus, Aer Lingus, Alaska)
In LAX-DUB-MAN (Aer Lingus, Aer Lingus)

Booking on Alaska Website, pending no issues.

It says my Classes are O, Q, Q and A with the four Aer Lingus flights, on the booking it states hold luggage is included, but I’m not sure if this is only for the Alaska or the Aer Lingus ones too, can anyone confirm these won’t be the saver class on Aer Lingus, as cheapest with luggage is the main priority….

however, I’d like to get best possible Avios outcome – should I credit my BAEC account, Aer Lingus account or make an Alaska Account here?

And lastly, any issues with EU261 and the like should it come to that booking through the American Alaska as opposed to a UK based airline?

You will have UK261 rights for the itinerary cited (assuming there is no stopover that breaks the journey the outbound from UK; it’s only for the connecting flights). Where you book is only likely to become an issue if you wanted to bring any sort of breach of contract claim where an airline might dispute jurisdiction if not a UK contract, but fine for claiming UK261.

It’s not relevant to your case, but where someone books is potentially an issue for those trips people are arranging with Iberia starting in Madrid which offer EC261 rights, but not UK261 ones.

Hey, thanks on the reply. And the info.

The stopovers between 2hr and 3hrs, just looking to get to Vegas for 3 days, then fly back from LAX as we head to Anaheim for a week.

As it’s a fairly late Christmas family thing, getting flights at reasonable prices has been tricky, but this is such a saving over anything else, that I’m happy to lose points anywhere really.
