I have an Amex, Halifax Clarity Mastercard, Tesco Mastercard and they all have statement dates the same each month. (I mean individual dates for each card).
So why can’t Barclaycard manage this? The statement dates and pay by dates are different each month which really puts me off using the card. So frustrating!
HSBC does the same; it’s in order to keep consistent statement periods. Since inception my Barclaycard statement date has varied only from 22nd to 24th of the month which doesn’t seem anything to complain about.
I’ve had 18th, 21st, 20th and 18th.
But all my other cards manage to be the same date each month.
I don’t even know what my statement dates are – that annoys me even more. I’ve had the card for 4 months and haven’t received a single statement. The CS offered me to post all four statements to my address but they don’t know why I’m not getting them (they confirmed they can’t see them either)…
Barclaycard does it x working days of the month while taking into account the weekends. I asked to have it on a fixed date but they said they cannot, and have set it to the 6th working day or so, and the dates vary within 6th to 9th of the month.
