Ambassador Free Weekend Night – multiple vouchers

I am just coming to the end of my first year of Ambassador membership. I still have my free weekend night voucher and will use this before it expires in March.

I will more than likely renew my membership and am looking to book another night in July to use next year’s voucher. If I do this now to secure the booking I’m guessing a second voucher will appear in my reward wallet. Am I safe to assume vouchers are redeemed in date order by the hotel on check in?

I’d obviously hate to be in the position where the longer dated (i.e. next year’s) voucher is redeemed first on my March stay with only a few weeks validity left and leaving me without a voucher for my July stay.

Also, I’m guessing if I have two valid vouchers, I’d have no issues with having two free weekend rate bookings?

Appreciate any help on this one.

Can’t say I’ve been in that position, but it seems reasonable to assume that the vouchers would get used in order (and obviously grounds for complaint if they don’t). The food & beverage vouchers certainly get used in chronological sequence when claimed for redemption by a hotel rather than selected through the app (which wasn’t working at the time).

You don’t need a voucher to book the Ambassador free night rate so no problems in that regard, you can have as many bookings as you like. If you get there and no voucher is available they would just charge you the full amount.
