Amending a Companion Voucher reservation

Am I correct to assume that if I want to change the start point of my 241 redemption (change from London to Manchester), my entire itinerary would be cancelled and need to be rebooked?

Of course, with no guarantee that the inbound flight appears again for redemption.

No – BA should be able to “add” a MAN connection for a £35 pp fee, as long as there’s avios availability. If it’s a long-haul connection, you shouldn’t have to pay anything else.

I think it’s still possible, for the same fee. One of those occasions when 2 separate bookings would have been handy though!

On this topic, can I just ask a clarifying question…

Changing/cancelling an avios redemption incurs a £35 per person charge…is this per leg of the itinerary or just overall for the booking (both outbound and inbound)?
