Having just received an email advising that my next annual membership would be charged to my AmEx card at renewal on 7th March I’ve just received another email advising that the Card Defence Service will not renew after 23rd February 2023 – This seems really strange…. anyone else received same email and if true does anyone know of a similar service provider?

Consequently, your Card Defence membership will not renew after 23rd February 2023 and following the expiry of your membership your personal information will be deleted in accordance with our GDPR and privacy standards.

Odd, I thought Amex dropped this way back, it’s been a few years since I had it as a benefit on Centurion.
FWIW I’d guess it was using Collinson Card Sentry as the underlying service, CSS is shutting down, hence the email you received.
I subscribed to CSS direct after it dropped from Centurion, that was a mistake…
I’d already wiped my CSS details a while back due to their failure to provide service, even after repeated attempts to get them to do so. Good thing it’s shutting down, it was a farce, last time I’ll ever give Collinson any business.
