Amex bonus points on spending rule which was introduced Oct

I hit 5k spend in October and got the bonus points for that soon after , I’ve spent another £2.5k making my total just shy of £8k I thought I would be due another set of bonus points however they have not posted , am I entitled to these or is the next lot of bonus points given at £10k spend

The 2,500 bonus points are awarded after each £5k spend up to £25k/12,500 MR max so you need to get to £10k before the next bonus. It does appear as I posted on another thread today that one can exceed the cap in this transitional year.
