Amex Business card eligibility for a Ltd company

I’m wondering who is eligible to apply for a AMEX Business card in a limited company.
Is it only for the directors or can an employee of the company also apply?
What about shareholders of the company?

I’ve applied and been approved for a business card of a company I’m not director neither shareholder, just needed a signature of the director on a company letter head paper authorising me to have it.
