Amex Business Gold sign-up bonus – statement credits?

Hi,

I signed back up for an Amex Business Gold in the recent promotion (40K points after spending £6K in 3 months etc). I can’t find any kind of ‘progress tracker’ on the Amex site or app, which isn’t particularly helpful, so my question is: are Amex statement credits (e.g. the Virgin £250 offer, or the £50 Dell benefit) excluded when calculating your progress towards the £6K, or would I have to ensure I spend an additional £300 to cover the Virgin and Dell offers I used?
