Hi there.
I am based in N. Ireland therefore there’s no options to use these credits on the entire island unfortunately, which is a bummer.
I’d like to hear any ideas on how I could maybe do a “hack” of some sorts to use them anyway. Do gift card purchases get a credit refund? So maybe I just use it next year on a travel for some restaurant somewhere? It’d be a pity if 2 x £150 would be lost on me.
Please help on this – what could I do?!
The Ivy gift cards will trigger the credit but I am fairly certain you have to buy in The Ivy rather than online but someone else may know differently.
I have been doing reading, checking small print. Seems to relate to gift cards not triggering, but I wonder if anyone has found anything or risked anything and it paid off. If all else fails, I’ll just lose out on £300 credit which is a bummer.
How about a present / trade with a friend on the mainland, or someone travelling abroad – they can add your card to their apple pay….

Good ideas. Unfortunately my circle is kinda limited to Ireland so no possibilities of that. I even searched around on Reddit but it seems like a lost cause potentially.
Someone rang a restaurant and pre-paid over the phone at the right address and that worked, but that can be a jammy risk to take.
