Someone last year, very kindly posted a link to the amex website where i was able to use the FX calculator and it would tell me conversions of all currencies from the £ and also the total cost to be billed on my card, including the 2.99% fee (accurate amount shown), but I now cannot seem to find this on the amex website.
Any help is sincerely appreciated.
When logged in, under the Benefits & Help section I see a link called “Check Foreign Transaction Exchange Rates”, but when clicked it just goes back to the post-login home page.
Might be worth a try to see if it works for you.
Yes very frustrating they don’t publish their FX rates transparently
They do publish a partial table of uplifts vs. ECB rates, this is the UK version…

Tbh I just assume it’ll be about 3%, exact amount will depend on the processing date, which may not be the date the card was used.
