AMEX Gold 80k Bonus points for sign up November 24?

Hi all,
Convinced that there was a link on Hfp in November 2024 flagging a bonus points offer of 80000 with a spend of £10k in the first 6 months for new AMEX GOLD CARD holder We applied via the link and I’m sure we had some for of confirmation of the offer. Amex now only credited us 30k bonus and I can’t find the historical link? Just me making a stupid mistake or can someone confirm that this offer DID actually exist or find the historical article on here??

80K and £10K spend is Platinum territory, I don’t think the Gold SUB has ever been much above 40K and £3K.
