Amex Gold > Amex Business Gold. Is this a self Referral?

Hi all

Considering using my gold card to refer me/my company as a director for amex business gold.

I just wanted to know if this would count as a self referral. I suspect it is, given that the card belongs to the individual, not the company, if that’s correct?
