I decided to get the Amex Gold Charge (business) Card for their bonus Points offer.
£85 from TCB worked well.
I’ve now spent the required £6,000 and my Points have been awarded.
I’ve already had the 40,000 Points credited (plus my 6,026 for Spend)
Decision now is whether to start at the bottom and start saving Avios or add the 46,000 to my 200,000 pile at Virgin ?
Have you got the flexibility to take advantage of the limited reasonably-priced award seats VS actually releases since the move to dynamic pricing?!

I can cope with PE during a daytime flight long distance but never an Economy and I’d ideally want UC flying over 7hrs at night.
Virgin aren’t offering any realistic UC redemptions from the US / Caribbean etc
For the next 4 years, I have my own “No USA” travel policy (though I do have 2 pre-existing LHR-MIA bookings this year I can’t financially get out of).
So, I guess with my self-imposed limit and Virgins self-imposed network limit, it does lean to Avios.
I need to research as I’ve never looked at Avios before (we started collecting Virgin Points after a free upgrade to UC a few years ago).
