Hi all,
With the Amex Gold card, as this comes with four complimentary lounge passes, can these just be used once for a family of four or are they just assigned to the main cardholder?
I can’t seem to track these complimentary passes on the Priority Pass app
It’s a bit odd, but the terms don’t seem to allow you to use all four for one access.
“You will be entitled to four complimentary lounges visits each year you hold a valid Preferred Rewards Gold Card. These may be used by the primary Cardmember, or by the primary Cardmember and one guest.”
I used it as a family of 3, so its not limited to just the cardholder, but they didn’t actually scan my daughter’s BP (she’s 3, but the free entry was for 2 and under), so in my visit history, it was just showing 2 people. I’ve since upgraded to Plat, so it doesn’t matter now anyway.
They don’t show your remaining passes, as they just swipe your card, and if you dont have any remaining, they will charge your linked Amex £24pp.
Edit: just checked my previous visit, when my daughter was 2, and it also only counted as 2 people.
Thanks. That’s good to know. So looks like potentially it will be £48 + £24 pre-booking fee (we’re 3 adults, 6 yr old and infant).
Don’t think it will be worth using on this occasion.
I have used all four passes in one visit for me and three pals.
