I am amex gold card holder.
My intention is to let my wife and daughter (without me) use priority pass lounge.
Not sure if it could work so I’m thinking to add my wife to my account (supplementary card holder).
Only concern is, if she becomes my amex gold supplementary card holder, can she in the future still be eligible to apply amex gold on her own, and get the first year 20k points offer?Thanks
Priority Pass must be in the same name as the passenger on the boarding pass.
Do supplementary Gold cards come with Priority Pass? I know supplementary Platinums do.

Gold additional card holders don’t receive any Priority Passes and the ones given to the main cardholder can only be used when that main cardholder is present; they can’t be given to any third party, including supplementary cardholders for independent use.
Supplementary Gold cards do not come with Priority Pass access.
But, you should still request one to get the free 3k points for requesting your first one.
As BWS says, being a supp card holder does not preclude you from being eligible for a bonus in your own name.

Do you definitely get the 3k points bonus when adding a supp to an Amex Preferred Rewards Gold Credit Card via that link? The page mentions “The Gold Card” which I would take to be the old Gold charge card? The art also shows a card in a different shade of gold to what I’m used to.
I’ve used that same link to add supplementary cards on my Gold (credit card), BAPP and ARCC, and got the bonus points for each.
didn’t know there is 3k bonus point for first supplementary card, that’s handy.
