One of my frustrations with Amex offers, and I have many! Is that I cannot delete offers which I have no interest in. For example I have an IWC offer which I have not added to my account but I’d like to remove this from the list. Indeed most of the offers are either useless to me or I have no interest in.
If we had the ability to delete them it would send a message to Amex that an offer is of no interest. I appreciate that not adding it to the card may have same effect.
What I would love is that when viewing online (not the app) it doesn’t decide to give me the first seven, then make me select all, then take me back to the top of the offers. Just show them all.
I wish on the app it could filter by “new” which you can do on the website/mobile site – this helps see what’s new in the last few days rather the myriad offers that have sat there for months and are of no interest.
Rob some months/years ago requested feedback on Amex offers. I recall the majority asking for them to be added in a date (listed) order, and the ability to hide or remove ones.
My theory on the latter in particular, was that if added then Amex could gather useful analytics, tracking those who do decline such offers as well. Sweaty Betty though would likely have gotten some bad news…
Yes, totally agree. Should be able to remove offers, and select a reason. I know some people say they just add the offers anyway so that new ones appear, but IMO, this sends the wrong message to Amex, and the algorithm will think it was relevant to you.
