Is it possible to sign up for both and AMEX platinum business card and a personal card at the same time? And is it worth it if so?

You can theoretically do this at the same time, but it is possible that from a credit perspective Amex might reject the second application if made too soon after the first. They have become tighter on credit in the last 18 months.

Amex Business gives you additional 10,000 points every month in you spend a min of 10,000. If your spend patterns allow that than that is worth it
