Forums Payment cards American Express Amex Platinum event Opheem Birmingham 20th August

My wife and I have been considering spending our £150 dining credit at Opheem in Birmingham. Dinner for 2 with wine pairing will cost about £600. If I take off the £150 dining credit it is still around £450. But… Amex platinum events have a Tasting Table event at Opheen on 20th August for £160 pp with wine pairing – so this seems like a good deal. My problem is that all the two person tables have sold out. The smallest table to buy is for 4 people. So is there a couple on this site who are also interested in going to Opheem on 20th August and wouldn’t mind sharing a table with me and my wife? We are great company, and we enjoy travel, food and wine (obvs). So please get in touch if you would like to join us for the evening.

Enjoy! We were there in April and it was fabulous food and excellent wine pairing.
We will be back – just not yet.

Ps the Coffin Museum just round the corner is worth a visit (booked tours)

Unfortunately the dining credit won’t work as it’s an Amex Event and is taken direct by Amex. I’m always cursing they don’t have many events in Birmingham and now they have one when I’m on holiday!

I’m OK with the dining credit not stacking with the event offer as the event is such a good deal and I can always use my dining credit elsewhere or another time.
