Not sure if this is part of changeover from charge card to credit card but cannot see FAST TRACK mentioned at the Application Page anymore!
https://www.americanexpress.com/uk/credit-cards/platinum-card/?linknav=uk-amex-cardshop-allcards-learn-PlatinumCard-carouselHaving lost my BA status, I am looking at using Amex Platinum Fast Track
May be we can use this thread to report all Airports offering this service.Italy: FCO, LIN, MXP, NAP, TRN, PMO, CTA

Thanks, Looking for similar links for FR, DE, UK, ES.
I could be wrong but as far as I know no airport in the UK offer fast track to Amex Platinum, only Centurion and then its not exactly a long list but does include LHR & MAN.

Correct

I recall, few years ago, I used Amex Platinum at LHR T5 and was allowed to go through the fast track security.

The attendant probably didn’t understand the difference between Centurion and Platinum

https://www.americanexpress.com/es-es/beneficios/fasttrack/So for example the Spanish link says you need to request a QR code from the experiences app, the U.K. app I have doesn’t show fast track security as a benefit?
which leads me to think these might not be universal global offers in all cases?

Good thinking. Unfortunately even using VPN for Spain and downloading the ES version of APP from the posted link / QR code of the app, then selecting ES as home counry the app opens with a link but for some reason cannot get the code. It goes to ES customer service after supplying the card number which probably already “disqualifies”.
I have always assumed a case of YMMV when using a UK plat card at foreign airport fast tracks. Worth a punt if in need but doubt it’s consistent.

Last time I tried it was necessary to input the card number (or at least the first 6 digits) to generate the qr code. Uk number didn’t work
Data Point – Frankfurt Airport
I saw a long queue at Frankfurt airport and thought I would try for the Fast Track. I showed the Amex Platinum to the two gentlemen monitoring the queue.
One briefly consulted with the other, and the queue barrier went up and we were allowed to go through fast track (on one single Amex card).
Unsure whether the queue jump was attributed to the Amex Platinum or just the sheer bravado/audacity – my advice is you try all of these methods 😀
Was denied last year at Madrid Barajas with UK Amex Plat. They said it was only for Spain Plat cardholders only. Not sure if it was my poor Spanish or slightly different card design that they managed to figure out I was a foreign cardholder.
I got through Madrid with my UK Amex Platinum today. I tried first with just my boarding pass (Qatar economy, BAEC Silver) and this was rejected as it didn’t have a stamp for fast track access. Do they only allow for Iberia flights?
But producing my Amex got me through once the chap checked the name on the Amex matched the boarding card.
Of course not being able to communicate (I don’t speak Spanish and he didn’t sepak English) may or may not have helped!

Yeah Ive been stopped for this before too. Apparently Qatar flights with BAEC silver arent eligible for fast track in Madrid, but Iberia/Ba go fine. I don’t get it.
Amsterdam Schiphol: https://www.schiphol.nl/en/schiphol-connection/page/privium-for-american-express-members/
Looks to be only for Netherlands cardholders as you have to sign up for Privium Plus with the Platinum.
I use it frequently at GOT and ARN (as recently as last week at both). Interestingly at the lounge (Amex pop up restaurant) at Arlanda, I was asked whether my Plat card was issued in Sweden to which I replied no and I was welcomed in. It seemed an odd question to be asked.

Last time I was there they had two separate devices to swipe the card through depending on whether it was Swedish or not – possibly that?
Successfully used at Catania (Sicily) this morning. Each of us showed our Platinum Amex cards with our boarding passes and got straight through to Fast Track. Very discreet signage (a printed A4 sheet taped on a wall!). Fast track also available for premium Mastercards (World Elite etc) but this was restricted to Italian issued cards.
Does Business Platinum work or just personal?
I think officially it is always restricted to each country issued cards (even in Italy) but they do not really check in most places. Spain looks to be a country that actively enforce this though
no issues at CTA and LIN yesterday
Spain
https://www.americanexpress.com/es-es/beneficios/fasttrack/Datapoint – Barcelona El Prat (no comment!) is on this list but I just got a smile and a shake of the head ‘no’ when I tried waving my UK Business Plat there on Monday … 🙁
Normal security was actually super fast so not an issue but it does support the earlier comment that the Spanish restrict access to local cardholders.
