I’ve met the spend and transferred my 90k to my BA account. The rewards points are yet to hit the BA account but they are no longer showing on the AMEX app and I’ve received an email saying the transfer is in progress. Am I safe to now cancel my AMEX card and get my pro-rata refund?
It would probably be OK, and if it was only a few points I’d do it. But for 90K points surely it’s worth a few days more card fee prior to cancelling, just to be safe.
@tinajen you are probably ok but i would rather wait and get the points just in case. If you cancel you have no one to talk to if there is a problem.
Are the pro-rated fees not worked out on a monthly basis anyway? or is it done to the exact day of cancellation? I always assumed the former.
