How long are people waiting for referral points to post?
Historically, I’ve found they post within 24 hrs. I did though, make a referral on Friday and I’m still waiting for these to land, 48 hrs later.
Yes I’ve found that they usually post within about 3 days but I’m waiting on one from last Monday. Unless there’s a back log due to the Tuesday uplift ending.
It will be on the day Amex dispatches the card. Delay may also be the result of the referred’s card not being approved instantly.
For me, it’s pretty much always been the next day after approval.
… although nothing has gone through this weekend for me!
I have found that points post the next day around 12pm (even weekends). Although, having said that, I am waiting on one at the moment. The person applied last week, but was not immediately approved. I think they got approved 3 days ago, but the points still haven’t posted. This has happened before (when the person wasn’t immediately approved), and it took a week or so then.

Wife was approved on Sunday, card arrived and was activated today. Still waiting on referral points…
Any data points if referral points have posted yet, or when they last were?
I’m currently waiting on 2 since the 10th, and a friend of mine is waiting on 3 (albeit since the 12th).
In fact on one of mine, their Platinum card has even been received.
With the amount of people that posted on this thread, definitely seems to be an unusual delay at the moment (as often they post the next day).
I guess there’s some comfort that we’re not the only ones waiting.
I am also waiting for one. Card received on Monday (13th) but no sign of the bonus points.
Still waiting on the points from an application from the 12th, and another on the 14th. Need them for a redemption too. Hurry up Amex! To be fair, there may well have been a mad rush at the end of the promotion that finished on the 14th.
Applied 19th Dec using HfP link, approved today after lots of back and forth. Card expected ‘in the next 3-5 days.

Still waiting on a referral bonus that’s been 8 days since approval (and now has spend on the card). Last one a few weeks before took a couple of days.

@Rob do you have any inside information?I have been waiting since the 11JAN for some to post, and I can amex chat to confirm my pal used my email link, which he did. They said in their T&Cs that it can take upto 10 weeks to post. In the past, it happened immediately for me.
I also queried this on chat with them yesterday and was told that it could take 8-10 weeks after approval for the points to post
