I’ve got my first Amex card , gold rewards

I’ve just transferred my points to BA avios however the BA membership number I added when doing the transfer was my wife , will I get them in my account or have I lost them

Do they check details etc

Names usually need to match but the worst which will happen is that the transfer will be rejected and you can just do it again with the correct details.

Will the points get credited back once they bounce back , if they don’t deposit , will I loose them
