Hi, I have an AMEX card that i use a lot to earn the companion voucher every year, quite a few places ive noticed that dont take AMEX anymore so its getting harder to reach the spending requirement to earn the voucher, Im looking at a payment provider that I can use to pay with places that dont take AMEX so then i can pay with AMEX later on, One solution to this that ive seen is Kasheesh it doesnt look like it works in the UK
Can someone recommend a solution that could help me?
Thanks
Using a payment provider that supports AMEX as a funding source and issues a Mastercard or Visa virtual card might be worth looking into. Not all of them operate in the UK, though, so it’s important to check availability.
Welcome to the forum Habib. I’m afraid that what you’re looking for doesn’t exist, and those that have tried have had their relationship with Amex terminated (Curve, Bluechain). Amex understandably doesn’t want third parties inserting themselves into the value chain between their customers and their vendors. The only slight workaround in these situations is where online retailers don’t directly accept Amex but do accept Paypal, where you can set your Amex as the preferred payment method.
