Apologies if this is a daft question but I’ve got myself somewhat confused with my Barclaycard Avios. Currently have a Premier current account with Avios rewards activated and a Barclaycard Avios Plus.
Intending to wind up both asap (as OH has a BAP and might use current account as a burner account). However, I see that I am due an anniversary reward of an upgrade voucher in a little over a month. I had assumed this was connected to the BAP but now I think it is the Avios Reward through the Premier account. Is this correct?
Can I therefore downgrade from the Plus Barclaycard now and still get the voucher or do I have to keep both running? The T&Cs are very complicated and haven’t worked as they say thus far (I.e. never been charged the £20 premier fee for not paying enough in).
Thanks in advance
They are 2 separate things, generating 2 separate (albeit identical) vouchers.
You can downgrade the BAP now and your voucher for the Premier anniversary will follow as normal next month.
You’ll obviously lose the £5/m discount for holding both products.
