Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Another BA website disaster

Booked an Avios flight with EI, via BA.com. Yes I do have a 125 ticket number.

Went on the EI site today to add my APIS data and was met by an error message which basically means I have to do it on BA.com

Go to Ba.com, manage my booking, it says API data is complete, put in my passport number to check. I do that and it tells me it’s the wrong number (it really isn’t) and I have 6 tries before the booking is locked. Try my old passport number, same error (I’ve flown twice with BA on the new passport so the old one sholdn’t exist).

Log in to the website to be told I have no upcoming bookings. WTF – You’ve just told me my BAC number is associated with this via MMB AND you’ve auto filled some APIS data. However the app tells me my booking is real and I can check in 1 day and 23 hours before my flight but the app still won’t allow me to check the APIS data.

Honestly they’re not fit to run an airline.

I’m also having problems with the BA website – just trying to add API data for a US flight in a few days. Yesterday I first tried and “technical problems”. Today, when I click add API, the website somehow thinks I want to check in (obviously I don’t) and then gets stuck in some kind of error loop… known problems ?
