Player 2 renewed Ambassador recently and is now sparkly till 2024. I’ve had the sparkly email but still only showing as valid till the end of this year. I’ve queried it via email, not mentioning Ambassador, of course.

I got Welcome to Platinum a few days ago – email said end 2024, but website says end 2023.
Seems to be purely from that Instant Platinum for anybody last summer.

Just got mine updated to Dec 2024 after getting the email, amb line was happy to do it but was reminded politely that I’d have to qualify next time through normal channels ie nights, so it may be the AMB route is also getting removed?

On the other point, I don’t think that extension of IHG status via the Ambassador renewal route is actually an advertised benefit, so hopefully the fact it wasn’t mentioned is for that reason alone. At least we don’t have to worry about it until the end of 2024 now…

I think if you didn’t get the email then you have little grounds for expecting an extension.
Doesn’t Ambassador give you Platinum status as one of the perks if you’re not already at that level?

App has now updated showing Dec 2024 expiry of diamond. Call off the wolves
Just checked my account and they added a second update yesterday at which point the date changed to 12/24

Another one here for who the app now says 2024. Email was received a few weeks ago.
Just checked and diamond until 2024 here. This will mean I’ll more likely make cash bookings this year and save my points until next year knowing I’ll still have free breakfast then as well. So it’s a win win situation.
