I have a stash of Amex MR points that I was planning to transfer to Krisflyer later this year, and I was going to use the ICC route to get a much better exchange rate for them through the US card. Unfortunately as per Rob’s article, personal applications for the ICC are no longer available (and I’ve also confirmed this over the phone with them).
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on alternative routes that might still be open? If it helps, I also have a Singapore amex account (although without any MR-earning cards at the moment).
You can apply for a MR card in SG and do a transfer from UK MR account to the new card. I am not sure about the rate at which the transfer will be done. Call Amex and they might be able to tell you.
