Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club Any FTV flexibility?

  • 411 posts

Having been booked for a conference in USA, it has now fallen through. I have requested a FTV and discovered that the man who booked me paid for my flights personally and was going to reclaim costs from delegate fees.

Whilst this is bizarre, I`d like to help him out. Will I be able to book flights in his name using the voucher from my BA account?

    Thank you.

Exactly what sort of voucher is this?

If it is an e-voucher starting 125-4 then yes it’s possible to book a flight for him. You need to make the booking and in the voucher section add your email/surname/voucher number

Thank you for your reply Chris. The voucher number starts 125-2. Would the same principles apply? It is a complicated ticket with different currencies and a holiday booking mixed in together.

Is it flight only, or a BA holiday booking – the relevant cancellation terms will apply (and might depend on the BWC dates)?

It is a combination of flights booked in Euros and dollars and a £300 holiday deposit. Thank you for replying.

It would have been helpful if you had said this in your original post.

A 125-4 voucher is an evoucher usable as I said online

A 125-2 voucher is an FTV and can’t be used online and so requires either a call to use or email after you have made the booking to have it applied applied.

In this case I believe the voucher is for the named person only but you should check the detailed voucher t&s in the BA website.
