I’m not sure there was ever a suggestion that existing ones might be swapped, but rather that the option of Avios or a voucher for new ones might be offered per the original terms. The number of Avios that has been mooted isn’t necessarily going to make this a particularly attractive option.
Exactly. I’d be very surprised to see this option backdated. I suspect the number will align with whatever Barclays pays when a voucher is used.
Pity, was half hoping to get something for this useless voucher.
Come on, @Aston100, that’s not the HFP spirit! You generally seem to need to travel at peak times so there must be an expensive cash route you could use it on? AGP at October half term in CE was nudging towards £600 pp when I looked and it can’t be the only pricy option. LH gives you even better value if you have plenty of avios and use the RFS option.

You’re probably right. Alas I think I risk being arrested if I return to Malaga, and presumably the rest of Spain too.
