    Call Barclays on Monday to inquire about the card delivery, the agent replaces the card through the phone.
    Received the first/original card on Wednesday while the postmark showed it was sent on Tuesday.
    Called Barclayds again to see if they can reverse the cancellation, being informed the replacement card was also sent on Tuesday, I should receive it soon.
    Now it is Saturday……..
    Will they take another half month to dispatch the card?
    By the way, they took my 20 pounds statement repayment through the phone just in case my card arrive after the due date and I do not have access to the online Barclaycard account.
    Any advice?

    I’m in the same position as you. I rang at 0715 on Monday morning to report card had not arrived. Agent said it must have been lost in the post and a replacement would be sent in 4-5 days.

    Original card arrived on Wednesday.

    Still no replacement card for me. Although some people on this forum and FlyerTalk are reporting replacement cards arriving.

    I rang on Wednesday to ask if welcome period could be extended. Was supposed to get a call back by Friday but of course I didn’t. The agent did say replacement card was due on Monday 21st FFS.

    I called Monday evening (after post cut off) and the original was cancelled. Original arrived Tuesday. This morning I am pleased to say the replacement arrived this morning, in a much better condition than the first! It worked straight away when registering on the app, and I’ve registered it on Curve without having to do a chip and pin physically first, and already moved things back in time. Will be doing a physical shop and an online order later today so will report back if it works. Already don’t have the problems the original card seems to have for others so maybe it’s good we ordered a replacement afterall 🙂

    I was impatient. Called on a Monday, told new card would be with me in 2-3 days (so, Thursday). Told my original card would be cancelled.

    Tuesday, card with original last-4 digits arrives.

    Thought I’d try it. Works absolutely fine (so not cancelled!). It’s now Saturday and still no “replacement”, but I’m merrily using the original (which they said was cancelled).

    It’s possible the replacement had the same last 4 digits, and they got it out to me between calling at 2pm Monday and Royal Mail delivery the next day… But that just seems unlikely.

    Clearly spoke too soon. Just logged in to the Barclaycard app. Got the following pop up: “All security checks are complete and you can use all the features”.

    However, it now says I have no cards registered…

    Alig4th – did your card come in a ripped long envelope with a silver pack describing all the features? The replacement just comes like a normal letter clearly stating it’s a replacement.

    Cancelled my original as soon as it arrived opened (maybe Tuesday?), and a replacement arrived on Friday. Working fine so far.

    Alig4th – did your card come in a ripped long envelope with a silver pack describing all the features? The replacement just comes like a normal letter clearly stating it’s a replacement.

    It was in that sort envelope (not actually ripped open, as I’m seeing some people’s are, but with one of those tear-strips, yes)
