Forums Frequent flyer programs The British Airways Club Anyone struggling to book an Avios seat today?

  • 9 posts

I’ve been trying to book a few seats today. Internal to GLA from LON.

Keeps telling me that there is an error and I need to try again later. It’s hit and miss. Sometimes I see the seats available. Sometimes I don’t. Seems to mainly be affecting new year.

Try using a mobile phone browser. Always works better for me, YMMV.

Thanks Steve. Tried everything. Even clearing cache, stopping Adblock and trying Chrome.

Looks like I’m going with the Orange lot…

    Hello @Hotflyer

I’ve been vaguely busy on wobblyBA.com today and experienced a veritable cornucopia of errors including your one.

I had excellent success using an incognito browser in Chrome although it did trigger your error when I searched for LON. I tried again using LHR and LCY and it was as happy as Larry.

So flights on the 29th and 30th cancelled for 50p each now my plans are a bit more firm with revised flights booked on these days using LHR and LCY as airport codes. I have no idea why I would have the audacity to try to search for both London airports that BA serve from EDI in one swoop as that would be far too easy.

    As always with BA, YMMV.

It’s the latest thing. Although that’s Mrs Froggee’s phone number as I’d never give out mine.

You have separate landlines? You are posh, @Froggee 😂

It’s an old joke. Write 770 2219 on a piece of paper, taking care to cross the sevens like they do on the continent, and hold it up to a mirror.
