This morning I’ve applied for the paid avios card due to the enhanced bonus and the application has been referred
The message says 5 days for a decision If the back office do accept the application and it takes 5 days will I get the enhanced welcome bonus as it says you must apply by the 30th
I hold a premier account with Barclays and applied via online banking , not sure why it’s been referred I know credit score don’t mean anything but it’s excellent and under pre selected offers Barclaycard was there
As far as I know, as long as the application went in before the 30th then you should be fine.
My application was also deferred/referred and took about a week or so for me to get the card. I didn’t get any emails/texts from them between the application and getting the card which I thought was a bit odd but it’s worth noting.
