Forums Frequent flyer programs British Airways Club August 2022 SIN flight cancelled

  • 142 posts

We have a 50% off avios, 241 voucher, F flight to SIN in early August which has been recently cancelled by BA.

Does anyone know where else we can fly to? It looks like Malaysia is still not being served directly by BA and nothing else falls within the 300 mile rule.

Does this mean the only recourse is to either hope SIN or KUL come back, or lose these flights?

Just had the same email for our F flights on 5th July – were you booked onto BA11? We have been moved onto BA15, the later evening departure.

Just had the same email for our flights back from Singapore on 22nd October. These were also a 50% off 2-4-1 booking in first going to Sydney and back from Singapore. Hopefully can now move the flights to be in Aus for Christmas! Have managed to do it online a few times with this booking so far so hopefully I can select new flights online rather than having to call

UK261 kicks in on any cancellation no matter how you paid. Read up on this in the forum, plenty of threads.

787 as fewer F seats than 777, and now you are competing with those people who want to go to Oz not just SG. Much more difficult to get any award availability until BA11/12 come back – esp 241. How woeful the state of travel. BA used to fly daily A380 to SG, and 777 to SYD via SG. Now it is down to a single 787-9 for both. So sad 🙁

Yes I was booked onto BA11, though hadn’t been moved to BA15 yet, I assumed they cancelled both but I guess I need to call and ask to get put on that!

Our flight to Singapore on 30th May was cancelled yesterday as well – just called the BA First number 0207 949 3055 and managed to get it changed to the previous day at 2235 but still in First.
