With all the cancellations there appear to be 5 x the amount of demand for redemption flights but 5 x less seats available to book
When normality in the sector becomes a bit more secure do you think BA will release more seats to combat the demand or inflate the amount of points required to redeem?
At the moment their priority is to rebook those with cancelled flights and that includes those booked with avios so they aren’t going to release any more than the guarenteed allocations until things calm down a little.
Byt yes when things calm down they will start to release more rewards.
