We are about to use 145k (Basically our entire balance) Amex points & Companion voucher to book LHR-SYD in CW
Can we then use the boost feature to purchase the same amount (roughly) again to book the return leg and add it to the existing companion voucher, if flights are available?
Trying to work out if this is a great hack for being able to use the companion voucher for both legs, rather than just the one that we can cover with existing points
I have been able to boost points transferred from Capital On Tap.
Yes – you can definitely boost Amex Membership Rewards points that have been converted to Avios:

They’ll cost you between 0.92 – 0.96p each, up to the 300k cap as per the article.
