Anyone aware of any foreign exchange merchants that currently award Avios when getting currency. Had a look and Travelex and Midpoint seem to finished with Avios?
Going to Las Vegas in summer and keep a set amount of cash to gamble each day in the hotel room safe so don’t go over my limit. atm fees are around 10 dollars each transaction on the strip so bad deal to use zero exchange fee and prepaid travel cards in atmsNot avios, but John Lewis gives you points for using their credit card to purchase fx from their own fx desk. It’s effectively a cashback, but check the rates before you buy.

There’s a pre-loaded card called Cash Passport which we used to use – not sure if it’s still available. You got 1 avios per £1 (IIRC) for loading it with foreign currency. Haven’t used it for ages as I found Curve and Revolut better for use abroad.
Also – a bit convoluted but if you use your Curve withdrawal facility linked to the relevant cc, you can then exchange that cash for $.
I realise this doesn’t answer your question but someone on here probably knows where the free ATMs are in Vegas!
